GATE 2017 Results

GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is known to be an all India exam which is conducted that tests the understanding of the subjects in the under graduation in engineering as well as technology.



Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee is the responsible board for conducting GATE examination every year for the candidates seeking admission in to post graduation courses such as ME, M.Tech and direct PhD as well as in other courses offered by NITs, IITs, CFITs and other private and government colleges in the country India. This year the conducting board has organized the GATE 2017 examination for all the 23 papers or disciplines on 4th, 5th, 11th and 12th February 2017 in various sessions where some papers have been taken place in multiple numbers of sessions successfully. This year, totally 9,71,831 candidates have registered for the GATE 2017 examination out of which 8,18,850 candidates have only appeared in the GATE exam in various papers / disciplines. Mostly, the more number of candidates have appeared in the Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology and Civil Engineering papers among the total number of candidates appeared in the exam. GATE 2017 Answer Key

The official Answer Key of GATE 2017 has already been released by the board IIT Roorkee and we all know that. The GATE Answer Key 2017 will have the list of correct answers for the questions that were asked in the GATE 2017 exam paper. As there are 23 papers in the GATE 2017 exam, the board has issued the Answer Keys for all those papers for the convenience of the candidates appeared in the exam. Many candidates have cross checked the answer key with their respective answers in the respective disciplines after downloading the GATE Answer Key from the official website. How To Check Gate Results 2017??

3. Enter the necessary details such as Enrollment ID/ Email Address / Mobile Number as well as password in the given fields.

4. Make Sure that all the details given in the fields are correct and finally click on “Submit” button.

5. Finally your GATE Results 2017 will be displayed on the screen with all the details as given below.

Soon after the GATE 2017 results are declared, the board will also release the GATE 2017 score card in the official website. The candidates can check their GATE result and download their GATE Score Card 2017 softcopy from the official site as board will not issue the hard copy directly for the candidates. The score card can of GATE 2017 exam can be downloaded from the official site in between the dates 27th March 2017 to 26th May 2017 and thereafter the candidates may not be able to get the soft copy of the GATE score card.

It is said that, the GATE Score Card 2017 will be issued for all those candidates who has got the score equal to the qualifying / cut off marks or more than qualifying marks based on their category. The final GATE score will be announced after calculating the marks obtained by the candidate for the papers of the single session as well as the normalized marks obtained for the papers of multiple sessions. Candidates who got good marks or score in GATE 2017 can either apply for the admission in to PG courses M.E / M.Tech / Ph.D. at CFITs, IITs, NITs or else in the other universities of the country India. GATE 2017 Counselling Procedure
